Has anyone here done or know of someone that has ever put power windows and mybe locks in a 92-95 Civic Si? If so how was it done? I have a few 92-95 Civic EXs that I can part out to get what I need. I have heard that there are missing wires in the dash and this was not plug and play.

Anyone?...

On EK's its a 6-8 hour job doing it from stratch. thats based on the instructions i had. you will need both door panes, regulators, door harness, and floor harness. you will have to take out all your seats, carpet, fenders (easier to run the harness thru). My conversion on my ek is a 6-7 hour job, as i had took my time on it. I remember reading that its the same on the EG's.

I have changed dashes in EGs a few times changing gray interiors to black. Would it be easyer just to swap the dash? I have at least 2 complet interiors. Just the motors were pulled from the wrecked EXs. Could you send me some pics of your car. Id like to see it.

Thanks

i didnt have to change my dash at all. the new harness just runs to your fuse box.

Yeah I will have black carpet and my stock Si panels and I think another good pair of EX panels. Call me in a week or 2 and I will let you know what all I have.

So all I would need to grab is the harness that comes out of the fuse box and goes to the left and right door correct? Easy to get out? Doesnt sound like this will be hard at all to do. Im going to part out the whole interior on Ebay after I get what all I want.

yes. the harness that runs from the fuse box. it runs thru the driver's side under the carpet to the back. you can disconnect it behind the rear panel. it also runs to the fuel pump. it also cuts across under the rear seat to the passenger side to the other door.
