he should be able to register the car in the state of ga as long as it is rebuilt/repaired and not a CURRENT SALVAGE

you can get tags and insurance for it with no problem. Salvage/repaired titles are more for personal use. you cant take it to a dealer and trade it in, or sell it at book value. just make sure that it doesnt say current salvage on it, as it needs inspection, before you can get any of the above done.

like i stated earlier, registering rebuilt title should not be a problem.
although, you may run into problems with insurance. some companies will insure the car but there are some companies that do not give insurance to salvage history cars, rebuilt or not. hope this helped

most dealers will not trade cars with salvage history(not saying all of them). and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY a salvage rebuilt car will sell at book value and selling a car w/o notifying somebody of the salvage history is a fraud. just my :2cents:

PROGRESSIVE will insure anything with wheels on it!!
The problem is,if you ever total the car take the book value and remove 30% off that, thats more than likely what you will get.
so say the book value is 1k you will get 700 then minus your deductible which are mostly 500 so you walk away with 200.. I hope that car aint worth that,im just making a point!

in the state of GA it is law that if the car has been salvaged it has to be stated on the title. as for insurance, tags, emissions, etc it doesnt effect it. the only thing it means that the car has been salvaged and then rebuild and passed the inspection. doing the rebuild there was probably something done with the odometer which has to be stated aswell. If an odometer has been changed or the milage hasd been changed it has to say it on the title and has to have a label on the door seal by the vin and other indo that the manufactor puts there(like tire pressure)

I have a salvaged car. as long as the title states "rebuilt" you will have no problem with insurance or registration.
