like the topic says my car wont start. its a 90 integra.
it turns over at first but then it stops turning over and makes the clicking sound:thinking: i checked the battery and its reading 10 volts. and i tryed taking a hammer to the starter to see if the spring was stuck but it didnt work. Right now im still thinking its the start.

All suggestions are welcome.
thx in advance

If it's not the battery, it has got to be the starter.

my friend just came over and we tryed jump starting it and it worked so i guess it was just the battery eventhough it was reading 10 volts

You dont have enough voltage to start the vehicle. If it is a unsealed battery check the level of the water. If it is low add and try to charge the battery.

LOLOL, cars run on 12 volts sytems and normal output for a battery is 13-13.3v. 10 volts is not enough to start but keep hammering away, it's sounds like lots of fun :-)

I'm assuming this is an automatic?

i tryed poping the clutch out while pushing it but its kinda hard by myself whne its not down hill. and jump starting is easier
