What's the best way to break in a fully rebuilt honda motor? I re-did everything pistons, rings, valve job, etc, etc, etc.

I would assume do it just like any other motor i've rebuilt. Dirtbikes, Cars, snowmobiles. I run them for about 20 mins. Not going past half throttle. Park it for a little bit, 5-10 mins quick cool down. Then do about a half hour on the motor or so. After that, pull the valve cover, re torque the head and cam hold downs, check the valve clearance, and all that jazzy shit. I usually run cheap oil for a break in, and when all is well up top, i pull the oil pan and re-torque the mains as well as the rods. Then change the filter, throw some good fully synthetic oil in it, and you'll probably be fine.

I found fully synthetic oil owns in a high revving motor such as a honda. I also substitute half a quart of Oil, for half a quart of Lucas oil additive. Seems to help incredibly. I also ran the lucas in my dirtbike (on a wet clutch) it didnt effect my clutch at all, and made for way smoother shifts. With that, I turned to running that straight in my transmission on my cars as well. It seemd to help with the quicker shifts as well.

Let it idle for about 15 minutes using regular oil only (no synthetic!), change oil then run the shit out of it, seriously :) Drive it easily for 500-1000 miles changing the oil at like 50/100 miles, 500, then 1,000 then you can switch to full synthetic...
