SOLD

Make:Honda
Model:Civic Si
Year:2000
Mileage:79,xxx
Options:Power Everything
Mods:See Below
Engine:B16A2n OBD2
VIN#:Available upon request

NEW PRICE OF $9,400 OBO. MORE PICS AT BOTTOM, AND WING IS GONE.

This is my 00' Honda Civic (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1161390#) Si the body has 77k. I just had a B16A2N Obd2 longblock put in a few weeks ago. The engine came straight from JAPAN and is estimated at 50,000km. It was put in by an accredited shop here in athens, and runs like a champ. Started right up with no smoke or any probs. I just got back from a weekend trip to NC where I got 34mpg the whole way n didnt have any probs.

The mods it has flow well together, and are minimal. It has an AEM intake, with AEM fuel rails n injectors. The never used 35 dry shot of NOS. Full catback exhaust, and a no name short throw shifter. I also have Sparco pedals, and a moniter in the car. I am sure im forgetting something, but u get an idea with the pics

I purchased this car from my best friend, the original owner, who had it right up to 77,500 because he gave me an amazing deal on the vehicle. I bought it with a blown headgasket n that is the reason for the B16. I love the car it runs great, but I just like RWD more, and I almost never drive it.

The car comes nitrous equipped, but I HAVE NOT sprayed on the new engine, and I AM NOT GOING TO SPRAY. It is running a 35 dry shot. The car itself is in pristine condition. The back seat has had passengers in it twice. The interior is PERFECT. NO FLAWS whatsoever. The exterior is also in pristine condition with only one or two rock chips on the whole body, and a small dent right below the taillight on the right side were someone backed into me. The car has a clean and clear title in hand.

The reason for selling is I found a great deal on an S14 that I want to jump on. PRICE is $9,600 OBO. There are SI's with original engines and more miles selling for $9,800 all so I believe this is a fair price. If you do not please tell me why, and or submit a reasonable offer. PS PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT THE WING IS RICEY... I KNOW, BUT IT IS STAYING FOR THE BUYER TO DECIDE WHETHER THEY WANT IT OR NOT. DONT TELL ME HOW MUCH U HATE IT. THANKS. NO TRADES AT THIS POINT

I just took the wing off, and I will snap some pics of it tonight. It looks SOOO much better. The wing was a JSP 83207, and it retails at $380. I will just try to sell that on ebay. So I guess the new price is $9,400 OBO

Sorry yeah well the shop that the engine was put in at was Street Stuff. Anthony did the shop. As for the A2n on my invoice order from the PasswordJDM (place of purchase) it said B16A2N if that's not right then my bad. I dont know much about honda components. I was just going by the invoice. The engine was swapped because of the blown headgasket by the previous owner. Ill post pics tonight of the Car w/o bumper. I need to wash it to. Im sure that you guys will like it now w/o the wing, but I have to find something to fill the screw holes with. Any thoughts on filling the holes to look good?

They used to have a really bad rap, but that was with the previous owners. Charley bought the shop, and has Andy and Dave doing the work. Anthony is unbeliveable with cars. He has done sooo many swaps n does them well. Im sure that ur friend had his car taken care of before the place was purchased by charley. Either way the car runs great. I can take anyone who wants for test drives on the weekend.

thats what i said too...then they told him it had all this power and i was like "hate to tell you man but the highest all motor B series in the state only has ~30 more WHP then you?? somehow i doubt your stock 1.6 is that high...i think they added 100hp to it..."

Excellent
$10,035
"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.
Good

$9,340
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.
Fair

$8,435
"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.

Poor
N/A
"Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of cars in this category varies greatly.

Aaaactually Derrick has a red one.. not sure what wheels he's rockin now.. and I know of QUITE a few Si's (quietly) running around Athens.. especially when school's in.

I concur that the closer to factory you can get that car the better. People looking for Si's are picky... if they want mods, they had better be PERFECT, and I can tell you looking at pics that the bodywork alone is far from it. If someone's gonna spend close to 10k on an 8 year old honda, they want it to be near mint. Can't say as I blame them.

Good luck on your sale, but put her back to stock!

BORICUAWRX
02-09-2007, 12:43 PM
The interior is mint, and the exterior has one ding on the back... you cant even see the dent from five feet away, you have to get right up on it to see. I think that $9,400 is a good price, but it is OBO!!!! Throw me an offer what is the worst i could say... No??
