So i jumped ship from ( Owned a DSM) and im coming over to the darkside. Need to know if it was Pre 03 WRXs with the Bastard Tranny. And what other things i should watch for when i buy one. Found a Sonic Yellow 03 for a good price.

The Pre 03 tranny really isn't as brittle as I thought it would be. Every one told me to treat it like glass, but I'm making more than enough torque to break it, and mine has held up fine. I launch the shit out of it too.

I heard that the only year with a weak tranny were the 02's.
if you found an 03 Sonic yellow one GET IT they are so fucking hot and rare
