so i just got the 240 fixed. i was hungry so i took it to get food.
headed back i was making a left turn from a light and the back end stepped out (welded diff) he pulled me over but was cool as hell.
i explained to him about me just fixing it havent driven it in awhile, etc. he was a car guy as well so he understood. he just let me go telling me to be careful and take it easy

i was amazed to find a decent down to earth cumming pd officer. i understand he was doing his job and i dont fault him at all. i wish every officer was like him

heh thats what i was expecting.
he was an off-road guy and understood the whole welded diff thing
it stepped just barely but enough to be noticeable. he was like "i saw that you controlled it but i just wanted to make sure that you werent being stupid"

i wish i coulda got his name, definitely need more like him around

LIRL at the title, put my mind in the gutter.

Yeah, some cops are nice, some aren't. You have to catch them at the beginning of their shift.

before drifting was mainstream, i was caught a few times. I once used the excuse "i was down shifting and went into the wrong gear and it locked my tires. So i did what i had to do to point the car in a safe direction and to not spin". Its less likely to get let off now that cops know what drifting is... as long as they can tell the different between someone making a little correction (as in your case) and someone being an idiot (like civics pulling e-brakes and cops who think that is drifting), it wont be too much of a problem.

yea. i told him point blank i save it for closed empty private parking lots or the track. because if i were drifting he'd know it... i was probably 15-20 degrees off of straight trying to correct so it wasnt anything big
