What did you need to know?

Remove drive belts
Remove crank pulley bolt
Remove pulley (most of the time you can wiggle the pulley from left to right and it will slide off.)

loosen the alternator nuts, so the belt can come loose. loosen the power steering pump nuts, so you can take out that belt. use an air gun to take the crank pully bolt out (19mm). wiggle it out and save the small pin that is holding the pully from moving. done. installation is reverse of removal

Not to mention, if I'm not mistaken, Honda crank pulley bolts can only be taken out with a pneumatic gun.

that is the fastest method. they do make a socket to hold the crank pully, while you loosen the bolt.

I just remember when I was taking my friend's off his LS motor, I was on my back for 10 minutes with a regular socket wrench, pulley not moving, and it didn't come off at all.

If you dont have access to air, you can you a breaker bar and a chain wrench.

X2 ^^^^^^^^^^^ thats how i did it. i got it off in no time just make sure u wrap something around the pully before u put on the chain wrench.

For some reason Honda loves to have that bolt tighter than it should be. A chain wrench can be your best friend.

also, i always torque it back to spec. I dont like to shoot it with an air gun, as it can put up to 300 fl lbs of torque to it, depending the air gun you're using.

you can also wedge a prybar against the flywheel through the inspection cover...just another option.

Wrong side of the motor. He wants to remove the pulley.

lol, what do you think the pulley is connected to?

Ok I see what you are talking about but i would be concerned about breaking the teeth off the flywheel.

Sometimes the crank bolt is on too tight even a air gun can't take it out. You can try to heat up the crank pulley bolt then hit it with a impact gun. i would recommend getting another bolt after doing this, it may weaken the bolt.

I pulled the belts off of mine, wrapped a nylon rope around it, and tied it to the upper motor mount above it. Used an impact socket, and 1/2" break bar with 12" cheater pipe. Took some ass but I got it off. (Impact gun i was using was SHOT.)
