Holy shit, when did this word become so fucking popular? Ppl use it to describe anything nowadays, Mustangs? C'mon!! Truth is 80% if not more once thought all the vynil and clear tails, or w/e shit was cool. Don't lie I know you shopped daily at PepBoys! I'm kinda curious if it was possible to find out which is said more: Ricer or Nigga/Nigger.

being a ricer is no longer JUST associated w/vinyl, big wings and body kits, it's used to refer to anyone who acts like a douche in a car in an effort to be cool or "in" w/the latest trend (read: drifting). and did my thread strike a nerve in u or something? were u the ricer in the mustang commencing w/the douche baggery?

lmao, next time you have to fill out any kind of paperwork, make sure to put links to various IA threads for your past experiences. That way there is no confusions and unnessicary phone calls

Naw no feelings hurt. I don't even currently have a car at all (It's in storage while I am doing my remote tour) , and never owned a Mustang. I was just being curious on why or how ricer changed so much. I haven't been in the states for more then a couple of weeks since 2004. Yeah I totally agree with you bout trying to be ''in'' with the lastest trend. That's why it kinda bothers me of so any ppl saying it now. When the word first appeared thats was what the majority of the trend was or they didn't even have a car at the time. Just seems like alot of biggotry.

A ricer to me is more of an attitude/driving style thing to me. I no longer go by what the car looks like unless it's complete trash......at that point I just shake my head or giggle....

meanings of words change or evolve with time to fit w/the times, i don't see what the big deal is there? and i don't see how it's any different than any other terms used to label ppl (such as emo).
