Tony Hawk: Project 8

Bad ass game! Its the first good one since THPS4. They added a couple new things and got rid of all the dumb stuff that they had put in the last few Tony Hawk games. If you guys like the first four Tonys then you will definately like the new one.

i love the "nail the trick" mode that is fuckin awesome

it was a fun game, but I got tired of it after 3-4 days. it's so repetitive

Its not the best Tony Hawk but it is the best one they have made in the past few years. The first 4 rocked, and the first Ungerground is where it all went south. Nail the Trick is my favorite new feature too.

we rented that game.. we were addicted lol.. i loved the slow motion tricks... that was my favorite.. the other missions i struggled with so i would ask drew to pass each level so i could play the next! good stuff!

isnt there suppose to be a game coming out thats, just like real life, like its actually hard to do tricks unlike tony were you can fly and do about 23408230958 tricks in the air land on a rail then jump and do another 234082305 tricks and if you want grind a rail or 2 blah blah blah, ...

I never had the balance to skate for real but I can tear it up with some THPS.

There used to be one on PS2 awhile back. I cant remember the name off the top of my head, but the learning curve on it was steep as hell. That and if you didnt land the trick perfectly you would fall. It never sold very well.

THPS2 has a code you can put in that is a simulation mode. You cant jump as high or balance as long, and you cant land sideways and still ride away.

THPS3 was probably my favorite too. Tony Hawk 2x for the xbox was the shit cause it was the first two Tonys and 5 extra levels, good stuff.
