Looking for cars to shoot for a new online magazine focused primarily on Japanese cars from the "sportscar era" but also euros and even a few domestics...street, show, or track.

Datsun, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, BMW, MG, Triumph, etc...just about anything from the 60's-70's. Step by step builds, tech articles, etc. are also in the works if anyone has a project they'd like to share.

Compensation is a feature article, free publicity, and high quality photos :)

Hit up the guys on the grassrootsmotorsports.com forumlolol, grassrootsmotorsports.com is classicmotorsports.net which is Classic Motorsports Magazine....and that's not exactly gonna go over too well considering that's my only "competition" hahahha

If they use some of the ideas i have planned i might as well give up now. Once i get a few features under my belt then I'll look into jumping the wall into someone elses territory...

aw you want the vintage stuff then

AE86s and like my car are old schooli'm still debating on the cut-off...i'm probably going to mix it up and create my own style with an emphasis on Japanese cars since it's not really been done yet. Jtuned features a few every once in a while but normally it's just specific make and model magazines that do the older cars.

How 'bout disco-era (big-bumper) domestics?May do a domestic of the month or something crazy like that but muscle car magazines are a dime a dozen w/ the news stands full of them...I'm trying to avoid the mainstream flow and branch out with my own thing.

so your only doing something like the old old school ones? what about a 80's yeah cut off? its alot easier to come across a few good old (80's) imports and the 70s ones. just an idea.

^^ define mess with :mad:The later the year the less cleaner cars there are compared to beat up ones. That make any sense? Many 80's cars are still driven daily and alot of them aren't that well taken care of. I want this site to be known for well done quality cars that are exceptionally clean, the later the model accepted the more people there will be wanting to be featured that don't meet that criteria.

Ok, i'm trying to decide what to do...I'm thinking a car from the 60's, 70's, and 80's each month would work out pretty well. :dunno: The only issue i forsee is '88-91 CRX's, Preludes, FC's, etc...they run into the 90's yet are still basically the same car.

Stormhammer, i'm not trying to leave out conquests/starions i promise!

The Mustang and Bel Air look great, just don't know if i want to get that deep into domestics but it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and do them so they're there for backup incase anything were to happen, fall behind schedule, etc. You would still get to have the high quality photos :-)

I actually considered doing a CBR 1000 RR swap one day, but other projects have taken precedence. There is a guy in North GA doing a Goldwing RWD swap. The N has 36 hp stock, and my Beat has 64 hp, combined my two cars have 100 hp!

That picture is of the Hondamatic N600 - I only know of two in existence.

The crank roller bearings are actually the downfall of these little cars right now. :(
