How to remove Studs

Wondering if anybody have remove front and rear studs off an civic. The rear looks weird. Its not a rear disc brake. Just the wheel barrel or whatever it is. How you remove that?

Not positive, but pretty sure you just hammer them back through the hub. Like just hammer on the stud, knocking it towards the car and out the back of the hub.

eh, interesting. Whats holding the studs? if you knock off the barrel or whatever it is.

ok do the following
take off the hub to make it easier, put it in a vice, hammer out the old studs through the back. Then put the new ones in, put a lugnut on and tighten down like a motha fooker. Then put it back on the car and put the wheel on. torque, and drive for a lil bit doung turns, and recheck. Im sure there are other ways to do it, but thats mine.

do you have drums or disc brakes at the back .. if you got drums they should be easyer

If you dont know what your doing, just take your car to a brake shop... The last thing you want to fuck up on is your brakes.... But if you want to know the easiest way to remove lug studs, it's already been said, hammer them out the back, then when it comes time to put them back in, slide the stud through, also I put a washer on the front, and then tighten the lugnut like hell and it will draw the stud through.. As for the brakes, if you insist on doing it yourself, do one side at a time and use the second side as a guide for where things go... Dont wanna leave one of those springs off lol..

you cant hammer the studs out of a civic or teg you have to press the hub bearing out first then the studs.
