Power to weight is a much more important ratio to consider.

HP per liter of an S2000 = 120/liter
HP per liter of a C5Z06 = 71.05/liter

Power to weight of a stock S2000 = 11.81HP per lb.
Power to weight of a stock C5Z06 = 7.69HP per lb.

Something is wrong with your numbers.. the more hp/lb is most definately the z06 by a long shot, but your figures show different.. I am assuming you don't actually believe that, otherwise the z06 would be slower than an s2000 :) Whereas the z06 is over 2 seconds faster, lol. Perhaps you confused HP and LB's, but I did not break out my calculator or even look at the numbers well enough to check.

Let's also look at this whole efficiency stuff in a different aspect. How much fuel does a motor use to make said power. That would be efficiency.. how much in, how much out. I think the competition would be fierce in this round.. even with the z06 making 400+ hp.

Well if someone on the board actuall spent the million plus dollars on an F1 then yes they are the fastest. There are many other things I would spend a million dollars on though. How often does said person actually drive the car?? Probably less then it spends being cleaned and washed and detailed. The enzo would be a close third behind koenigsegg cc and forth would be my personal favorite the saleen s7. Dollar for dollar I enjoy my little s2000. And for less then 20,000 I can have someone drop a 2jz in her and run with the street bikes at 100+mph. I will stick right around the 450whp mark which is plenty for a car that only weighs 2800 pounds. Just my $.02
