Once again, we are going to the Gap. This time we will be staying at the cycle lodge itself. I am still camping but they have rooms there for cheap. Just call and reserve (800-889-5550 or Deals Gap Motorcyle Lodge (http://www.dealsgap.com/motel.htm) for more info). You need a CC# (will NOT be charged) and a phone #.

So, there is no reason not to reserve now (no reservations for camping though)!

We were up there a few weeks ago and plan to be there for two Mazda events and one MINI event this year but of course any excuse to go to the Dragon is a good one. Hope to get up there as many times as possible when the weather is good :bump:

LoL, the infamous triangle. Blood mountain, wolf penn gap...I live at the base of the mountains. Last one I did was like...september, though. September or october. It's the off season due to gravel and possible ice. That, and cops were getting heavy for a minute because the media was covering the speeding motorcyclists up here...

At the track I'd be able to actually push the car, thats why it's nicer. On public roads I am too paranoid to push it hard, just here and there to ass-test a new swaybar or different damping settings. Mountains are just exiting with spirited driving, not necessarily fast or to a point where you are losing traction, + the view.

They do alot of old-school muscle cars too. They said normally they build 600hp and above only, LoL. They laughed at how long it'd been since they had one with less...

I'll get the name of the shop. They just changed names and locations because they were tired of having mass people from all over the east coast coming to them. They said they wanted to keep their business by word-of-mouth, and locals only.

Workin' that emissions thing...this weekend, I'm gonna pull EVERY friggin' thing off between outside air and combustion chamber from the integra and put it on the civic. It CAN'T be the exhaust...it's got new spark plugs, proper fuel pressure, new o2 sensor, new cat, new muffler, new plug wires, I'm on the second dizzy, and the ECU is throwing no clothes...

i would... but last time it was just a lil overrated.... freezin balls in 30 degree weather not to mention the RAIN....and showering in freezing cold water in a gross bathroom wasn't that great. And from what it sounds like the store camping is worse than at Fontana... so yeah I figured I'd go with a room this time :D

I'll try, but you KNOW I'd rather be on the tail. However, this will give me time to get some sticky rubber on lighter rims...and get that rear camber kit, and probably a new better-working front camber kit. Be safe out there! I'll go up in about 3 weeks (give or take)
