why do you want basf? alot of companies make a flat clear. Alot of the clear's have additives you can add to them to make them flat. All you need is regular black basecoat and then top it off with a clear with flattening agent in it.

oh, and no i don't know where to get BASF

is there a reason why you only like BASF?

like bishop said there are plenty of places that can do matte black. I would listen to him, he works in a bodyshop.

pretty much any paint company including house brands can do that.

some clear coats have a flattening agent you add to the clear. The more you add, the flatter it will be.

this is the product sheet for omni's quick clear (omni is a paint line by ppg).

if you look at the additives, they give you the mixing formula to achieve flat, eggshell and semi-glass finish.
