any b16a can be any obd, unless you want it to be obd2, then you need to change out the oil pump and have a sensor on the oil pump aimed at a gear on the crank shaft. If there is no engine harness then you can tell if its originally obd2 by that. other than that, they dont have an "obd" per say. Are you wanting to put it in your car, if so, what is it and what motor is in there.

its not realy gay in my opinin to put a b16a in an integra, it goes in a civic si they weigh about the same. integra XSI in japan had a b16a in it.

there are numbers on the head that tell you what month and year the motor was made in.

i.e.
if it says

0/9 9/1 <----- (these numbers are circled)

that means its a 92 motor made in september of 91 ( anything after 0/6 is the next year up)

but as SPOOLIN said... any motor can be any OBD for the most part.
Hope this helped :goodjob:

hey man I read the messages you posted on my thread i dentifying the b16a year make....i was wondering if maybe you can tell me when it was made here are the numbers that are on the head....

8/9 0/6 1/3 6/0

thnx
ok... well... you're going to look at the first set of numbers.
the 8/9 and the 0/6
that tells us it was made in June(06) of 1989 which technically works out to be a 1990 motor (anything after June is for the following year.)
So.... regardless if it was 89 or 90 its still an OBD-0
:goodjob: hope this helped.
