then we can start swooshing our hair to the side out of our eyes hahaha, i used to have that long straight hair, now its really short, like i said i'm starting to move away from the scene

so how do u feel about the other bands i listed, besides the ones you outright bashed lol

Atreyu's new album sucks, but their old stuff is still good, you can't hate a band simply for being popular

and throwdown is amazing, i dunno wut ur talkin bout, Burn gets me pumped

nothing gets me in the mood like Maylene though

yeah, i used to have long hair. when the scene got big, i cut it.

lets see about the other bands. love it dies today, good pick there. fight paris is ok. and some of the others were ok.

and yeah, i can hate a band for being popular. when you have listened to this shit for 6-7 years and then all of sudden everything you loved in the scene and music got turned to shit by bands like atreyu. fucking ferret records and hot topic really did ruin the scene. now i cant go to shows like the thursday one because the kids there are fucking gay, and when i start dancing they tell me to 'chill out dude, dont punch people, lets just have fun' which fucking pisses me off.

throwdown is decent at best. i just really hate toughguy hardcore, with the exception of a few. ringworm and integrity ftw.

Lucky DAWG
01-24-2007, 10:20 PM

and describe to me how it isn't an anthem... i dont know one kid at any show who doesn't like that song, no matter how played out it is.

well throwdown is more metal sounding which describes the tough guy aspect.

haha at the gay ass thursday kids
i know what you mean though

i went to warped tour and there were tons of kids like that. i gotta admit though there are some real fuckin douche bags in the pit. stick to your spot and there won't be a problem, and if you're gonna run around be aware of wtf you're doing. By running in circles in the pit and running into people while they're dancing is a good way to get knocked the fuck out by about 5 people.

even though the people are gay at those shows i still enjoy listening to it on my own.

Fight Paris's music is okay, what makes me like them is their stage presence.

and yea hot topic is pretty homo
i stay away from the right side of the room, "the goth side"

the chariot is a fuckin BEAST
i dunno the leads name, but i remember he got up in the rafters and hung upside down by the mic over the audience and sang

its pretty awesome when they get into it like that instead of standing in place, it really gives it a hype

some of you guys are really emo. lol

I went to see linkin park one time and opening acts like story of the year and hoobastank opened and the crowd for that shit ruined everything, they were the worst. Ive been to 3 LP shows so i know it wasnt their crowd. Those kids wouldnt stop crowd surfing and pushing and shoving it was aweful. Thats why when i go to see metallica, its great, you can be 20 feet from the stage, its still packed as hell and dont have to worry about people fucking moshing like retards and ruining everything. No they arent old people either FYI.

Who are they playing with? I've never seen them before, Joe Queer lives in Atlanta and they play a lot of local shows. I'm pissed I missed them with Dead to Me at the Drunken Unicorn a month ago.
