IA Chatroom

What do you guys think about making an IA chatroom to chill in and just talk about w.e if I make the java applet and host the server ??

I think it'd be kinda cool to do though just for some people to chill and talk about w.e. Bandwidth isn't an issue. I'd kinda be interested to see some of the Kicks/Klines QD would make hah.

bandwith isn't the issue we have as much as we want; its pointless b/c we've tried it before and it won't last more then a few days... the forum is a HUGE fucking chat room why would we want to just talk about shit we currently are posting about?

i'm not understanding the down side to having a chatroom if we have unlimited bandwidth here, you still didn't answer if no one came in the chat when you guys tried it before or why it would shut down in 2 days...

i did answer the question... it was a waste of bandwith; 1 night 10 peeps or so... on/off, 2nd night 5 peeps, 3-5th dead as fuck! whats the point when this is a chat room? w/ a billion threads... java chat rooms like your suggestion only work w/ friends wanting to talk about the same shit... ie. lets talk about WOW or Counterstrike or how cool our gay as clan can be...

LOL it's kool Admin, I know chatrooms do not work on forums this size. Shoutbox is a little medium. If it can't be done it's kool, but a shoutbox will be more effective than a chatroom for sure.:goodjob: ....Vegeta

That's exactly why I see the chatroom failing in the past. There's way too much activity going on in here with conversation-like threads than would halfway fill a chatroom. Later, QD.
