Ok this might be stupid but i just cant figure this out.... how do you remove the circled section from the bottom side of the front brake? I cant get it to come off!!

ok i found it on honda-tech

i just had to pop it off... do i need to do any "popping' back on? or just screw that shit back on??

ok well if anyone needs to know how to pop the lower ball joint... heres how and theres a video too... pretty easy actually (and saved me a lot of frustration!) :goodjob:

Many ways to do it, pickle forks work but tend to kill the boot. Hitting the side of the lower control arm will generally get it out without hurting the boot. There is no popping back in, just torque it down and put the cotter pin back in. If the cotter pin happens to not line up with one of the slots on the castle nut over torque it to get it to line up, don't undertorque it since it can be too loose and cause other problems but it should line up right back where it was.
