Ok guys I am wanting to see if anyone would be interested in a 2004 cooper s converted to turbo only.

It is using the bullet proof SPI exhaust manifold with a gt2871R. Boost is controlled by an HKS EVC. It also has a HKS BOV. The car uses an AFC piggyback for fuel control. The fuel system has been converted to a return style system with an aeroquip FPR. It has a front mounted intercooler from bell intercooler. No nitrous.

The motor was rebuilt 8,000 miles ago. And was equiped with CP pistons, ARP head studs and rod bolts, and everything else is factory bearings.

The drivetrain has a spec flywheel and a stage 5 spec clutch. Just installed 1,500 miles ago. The axles were where also changed at the same time.

The engine has solid engine mounts. And there is a three inch turbo back exhaust.

It is using a Meziere water pump that flows 55 gpm. This is the same pump the FTR team is running and the car deffenitaly has no problems in the cooling department.

There is no interior inside the car except two factory seats and driver side carpet.

Spax coilovers have also been installed. Alta rear camber links and the new Positive Steering response has also been installed. Also a rear hotchiks rear sway bar. The car sticks extremely well.

The car pulled 370 whp on a dyno dynamics dyno at 26 psi. The tune is set at 11-11.5 afr.

The exterior of the car has a few paint chips and a scratch on the rear bumper. And it is british racing green. The car has 35% tint and has Kosei wheels wrapped in falken 215/45/16 (RT-615)

This car is not for the faint of heart but is the highest HP MINI on the east coast.

76,500 miles on Chassis
8,000 miles on Build
3,000 miles on Turbo Set-Up

Just wanted to see what you guys think this would go for. I was thinking 35k.

holy crap!! these things sell new for like $20-23k man!!!

you might be able to get $1-2k over "new" retail for it but nobody is going to pay that for the car when they can jump into an e46 for the same cash and actually have an interior as well

Hey guys I had my friend list this for me. All the interior parts and fasteners are all in storage except for the carpet. There is a carpet cut out on driver and passenger floorboard.

No times for the current setup. The car was previously twin charged and ran high 7's in the 1/8th at 95mph with similair power numbers.

If anyone is seriously interested in the car I wouldn't have a problem driving it down to Atlanta.

Also on the comment about an E46? This car does over a G on the skidpad. And will absolutely rape one on the highway. On pump gas this car had no problem eating a C5 ZO6. And thats at 20psi.

Here are some pics of the interior pieces that are in storage. All rear seat belts, fasteners, trim, and even rubber floor matts for the front.

If the car does not get any interest it will be goin on ebay. PM me with an offer if you are interested.

I also have an R34 that is needing a few parts. So I would be interested in factoring that into the equation. Hit me up.

is this the same mini from nc that almost jumped up the dyno on the bottle at msp two or three dyno days ago?

Spillman
01-26-2007, 09:06 AM
It was at mainstream several months ago. Since then the blower and nitrous have been removed. Now it makes the same WHP numbers on turbo only. Much more effecient. And the car had a bad boost leak that day.

kbb on an '04 mini s w/ 76k mileage is around $16k

Spillman
01-26-2007, 10:17 AM
Um... Not sure what kbb is. But the NADA value (what most used car dealers go by) for a '04 MCS with leather, 76k miles, and sunroof is $20,675.

How? You can get a brand new 07 S for 22k?

23.8k with leather and sunroof.

Sticker price on my car was $26k. I still have the sticker and all literature and all the stuff they sent me in the mail (MINI Swag).

The '07's were designed to be cheaper. And they use an all aluminum block.

And they're turbocharged.

I'm just wondering how you plan on getting 7k over what you can buy a brand new, 0 miles car for. Not dissing on the car, I think it's incredible. I just don't know if the market is going to allow you to get rid of it for that much. Also I would suggest Ebay or Autotrader.

Good luck though and I hope it goes to a good home. :goodjob:

Spillman
01-26-2007, 10:36 AM
They are turbo charged. But you are not going to find the support or make the same numbers with that motor. All the internals are aluminum. Forged but aluminum.

The 07's will be a dime a dozen. You are talking about a car that is the highest hp on the east coast. Third highest in the Nation. This is not a bolt on car. 100's of hours of fabrication time have went into this car. Not to mention hours upon hours of dyno tunning. There is another turbo converted MCS on the east coast but it is up north in Michigan. That guy is only making 230whp....

NICE ASS CAR.
Get an add out in some car magazines, those higher end ones, people with class would love this thing. This is a car with attitude. I fucking love it. Too bad 35k for a car I barely fit in is like asking me to pay $6k for a Civic Hatch...........

You'll find a buyer, for 30k in one of those mags.

you said something about you had a R34. A R34 what?

An R34 GTT. Car is in pretty ruff shape but it is a legally imported car. Not just a skyline with some us spec vin plates. It has a vehicle safety inspection vin. Along with the factory jap vin plate. I believe the car came from New Zealand. Found a citation behind the glove box and a couple of coins from over there.

Found it on it's way to a junk yard. So now I am getting rid of the MINI:( to start on my new project.:D

The prob isnt $, its what you are getting for it. Granted its all quality stuff on a cool car, but its all used. There is such a small market of ppl who can pay $35K for a used car w/ that mileage, much less on a mini thats very modded. Your target audiance is nearly non-existant. I had a $60,000 widebody civic i had to sell for $19K, thats all it'd bring. I know where you are, and losing $ isnt fun. Not tryin to be an ass, but we all know cars arent about breaking even,or close to it. Fun has a cost!

Ouch... And I don't mean price... I mean the comments... This is a nice little car. If he wants $35,000 let him ask it. Last time I looked (ebay auction) he was asking $27k buy it now. That's a pretty good price for so much quality work done. Nice car. I have a friend who is selling his Show Mini for $25k and it has stage III supercharger, black on black with brembo brake kit and Zeemax Widebody... It is a Really nice car...

+1 what 2turbo4u said, that would probably be the best bet for a little higher end modded car like this. That sucks about the ebay thing, that didn't quite work out did it? $11,500....

Good luck on the sale, its beginning to look like you're really going to need it

Sure but try turning up the boost to 30psi and see what happens. Aluminum pieces will be thrown all over the place. The new engines are all forged aluminum. Not to mention the fun you will have tunning a direct injection engine.
