there is a thick dark grey smoke coming out of my exhaust all the time. any one know what is causing this? the engine runs fine other than the smoke and an occasional series of backfiring. i have an intake and spoon racing N1 on the mini me.

sounds like rings though since its full time and not just abouve 3-4k

cheap just labor intensive...what motor is it? may be better off just getting a swap

bored d15-d19 turbo'd=cracked sleeve...maybe cracked sleeve w/o turbo.

thing is if your doing rings, you need to make sure you still have crosshatch left and if not, you need to get a hone done...you can do rings yourself im sure but its not expensive, just need the tools and a weekend when you arent doing shit

yeah man. rings are cheap so make sure you get oem ones....how longs it been smoking?
