Hardtops are very expensive... hell, having an S2000 in itself is expensive. Make sure you consider all of that before you make your move. OEM tops cost as much as some aftermarket tops. They are in demand and somewhat rare.

Couldn't be... that is cheap. How many miles? What year? Is it running?

78k, 2000 model, runs super strong.

Has D2 coilovers, extremely fun ride. I've never driven a more fun car.

It's planted firm even at 130+mph and handles like it's literally on rails.

Cheapest new OEM has always been hardtopguy.com (http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.php?productid=1&cat=29&page=1) in Ohio.
He was a parts manager at a Honda Dealer and offered prices better than any local dealers. For awhile he was unloading all the Spa yellow tops because the +04's were a different yellow. Those were going for $2200. Lots of people bought them and were getting em repainted. He probably sold off all of Honda's Spa yellow inventory back in '05.

I got mine (OEM silver) for $2500 in '03, installed by HTG, 6 months after I bought my S (met him in Maryland). HTG doesn't work at the dealership anymore, but he's still able to get S2000 parts cheap. Since it's not a part that dealerships will keep on hand, a new top would have to be ordered (so not cheap).

Being winter and in high demand, used hardtops will be hard to find. Used OEM come up on s2ki.com occasionally, but get snatched up quick. You're more likely to see a good deal in the summer.

I love my hardtop. Best accessory for the car as it makes it look like a completely different car. Plus I know (if I had to) I could turn around and sell it and make my money back.
