Has anyone here had any bad experiences or know of any with the Power Acoustik fubar subwoofers? I bought 2 of these tonight and they sounded very good in the store and was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with them before i open them. I also bought a 1700 watt kenwood amp to go along with the subs. Also if have any info on these what kind of box did you use with them. I was definantly going ported I was Just wondering whether it needed to be custom made or could I get away with store bought. Also was the system very loud when you had everything all hooked up and in the trunk, also add how many of these you used. Any help would be appreciated, or if you suggest a different type of sub let me know whats up.

I heard some PA Mofo's that sounded alright! I think they look louder (if you can even say that) than they can actually be! I love me some PA amps though (when it comes to being cheap)!

if you do wanna stick with them please go with a custom enclosure and not a pre fab. I built a box for a customer with a 15" in a 2cu@34hz box running off a directed 1100 and it hit pretty hard for a power accoustic.

I used to have 1 PA FUBR 12 built a 2.5cu.ft. box for it and pushed 200w. to it and it was quite loud. So if loud is what you're goin for then that'll do it if you build the box right. If clean is what you're lookin for then i suggest another subwoofer
