Firefox or internet explorer?

Which one. I use internet explorer by force of habit, but I am trying to use firefox more. I just need to learn the features.

i use to use maxthon because of the easy of just sliding your mouth left or right while holding right mouse button down but now I use foxfire, mainly b/c it saves my passwords, which EI does too, but it saves http: at the top better as well. I just hit "f" up there and it goes to IA's forums.

P.S.- tabs are the shit!

i particularly like firefox because it has tabbed browsing and that works great on macs (IE may by now too, but haven't touched it in a couple of years). firefox seems to crash less and also protects against pop-up's better. and (unlike older versions of IE) it's compatible with transparent PNG images which is sometimes useful for web design.

I use the hell outta firefox!! Have been for about 3 years or more now! I love the features of it. Comes with a pop up blocker among other things

LINUX IS THE SHIT!!! lol I'd like to get a copy of redhat. But, When I moved to GA, I gave up my niec computer i built haha. (gave it to my dad so its easier to keep in touch daily) Now i'm using a 30 dollar Thrift store rebuild lol. Not complaining though! It runs AIM, Firefox, Frostwire, and Photoshop! lol So i'm quite happy!


Someday i'll have a better one with Linux...Best OS i've ever used

IE 6 I believe. I kinda like things and stick to them. I only recently upgraded my AIM. The only thing I would consider upgrading to is the new IE, but I have heard bad things about it, and oddly enough, I didn't like the tabbed browsing. I had FF for one day, and went back to IE.

Also, as lame as it may sound, I don't like doing what everyone else does or has lol. With most things. Like Ipod, FF, etc.

I use IE especially now that IE7 is out. The tabbed browsing is the same as firefox and IE7 has much better pop up protection and security then before. I have had no issues since downloading IE7

You have a higher chance of going to a website with a IE vulnerability than a FF vulnerability. Therefore, from a security standpoint, you should use Firefox. Also, IE are some dickriders, they took tabs from FF, and I just hate Microsoft.

actually if you use IE7 i would go to say its more secure then FF and definitely needed if you any design/development work considering more 70% of the world uses IE; my biggest complaint about IE7 is the ftp use = null. you have to use explorer which is kinda annoying!

but on my mac i use FF b/c its most update to date browser
