BTW CVTC stands for Continous Valve Timing Control. A Cam Phasing system.

As compared to VTEC and VVT, Cam Changing systems...

Just depends on what you are using it for. Cas cam phasing gives you more tq and less HP, but the Cam changing gives you more HP and less tq. Alot of german cars use the Cam phasing also.

but vtak screams vtakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!

and cvtc screams C-V-T-C!!!!!1

but real talk..i didnt know that, i kinda figured vtec was centered around HP and not tq due to all vtec(ls/vtec) having no tq.

I googled it and found a list of all things that used a simlar system as CTVC, on the list was like Audi TT, S4, A4, A6 and what not. All of the other JDM companis like honda, toyota, and shitubisihi used the Cam changing stuff. I test drove one of the lancer ralliart things and it felt very simlar to riding in a honda SI. You could tell it had HP but it didnt get moving quickly cas it didnt have much tq...
