i got this as a killer deal, picked it up in NC 3 days ago. it runs and drives extremely well. (surprisingly) and has no damage to the chasis.
supposedly it was flipped by this guys son going around a curve too fast. he drove it all the way back home like it is now.
i was put off by the oil on the motor (only 110K), but there are no fluids leaking at all.
just wanted to share my new project with yall, wish me luck

UmmM, are you serious?
Killer deal my ass .. that thing needs more body work than the car is worth. I don't care what kind of killer deal you got .. let the Teggy retire please!

it's still good for the swap, brakes, and interior tho, so if you paid < $1000 good deal.

i paid $500 for the whole thing... the motor alone is worth more than that.... id say it was a GREAT deal.... dont hate :2up:
and as for letting it retire....hell naw....i love a challenge....and i have a body man who will replace the top for $350, dent and dings i can live with. a new fender here, a little paint, a windshield for $120......do the math, still cheaper than buying one outright.
yall look for perfection...i just see the potential...
but oh well, whatever floats ur boat
