well, if ur just picking up the motor, then u should be able to do it w/ 2 people pretty easily, but if the tranny is connected then i might be a little more difficult. only reason i say this is because i have to pull a motor w/ no tranny out of a hatch b4.

I'm pretty heavy on student loans because I'm not what could be called the best student in the world.

The question about whether you should get loans or not really depends. What is your major? Right now, I'm only really working one day a week because my classes aren't really easy. In fact, the engineering department recommends that we not try to hold down a job at all. When I was an undergrad at UGA and studying Economics, it wasn't too tough to have a job and go to school.

Mom's good. Just a small surgery. Didn't even put her to sleep. Apparently that was an abnormality on her bottom lip that wasn't supposed to be there, so they just put her on Vicodin and lidocaine and put her in the chair. Nothing big at all. Just sucked for me cuz I had to sit and wait for like an hour...LoL

If it was a 1986 it would have been a 944. There is a 1987, and maybe 1988, 924S that is basically a 944 but without the flared fenders. They're lighter than the 944 with the same engine, and suspension. I could go on with more about the 924 and 944 history but I'll stop.

And do both of you have BOTH of your oxygen sensors hooked up? Cause my dad's b16 always ran like **** w/ both O2 sensors hooked up, but he switched around 2 plugs and now he can run with both oxygen sensors, never a check engine light, and the car pulls harder....

No check engine lights here. I'm obd1 now so I only use one o2 sensor. Tell your father to convert to obd1. He'll thank me in the long run.

I don't remember telling him to get a pr3. Basically the pw0 and pr3 are the same ecus (exception is the obd1 pr3). Is he throwing any cels?

F*ckin' emissions is KILLIN' me, man...

Last year didn't wanna pass cuz it was too rich. Threw on a manual regulator and cut it down to like 25psi or something like. This year it's running TOO lean. I WAS cruising at 21-22psi, but oh my god trying to get the car to "spool up" to engage the clutch left me almost rolling into cars so I brought it back up to 25. For some reason...twice, the CEL came on. Still not sure why...she's not throwing any codes. Pulled the cat (I'm failing cuz NOX is too high) and the element is semi-white, and still in tact and good to go.

*shrugs* I don't know...tomorrow (friday) I'll be making another attempt.

I can't wait til I don't have to deal with this sh*t anymore...

any b-series tranny (except preludes and crvs) will work. You have to options getting a cable or hydro tranny. Cable trannies are recommended since our cars use cable trannies, but they are old and grind most of the time. Hydro tranny are better for the fact that they are newer, but they would cost more and you have to get a cable-hydro conversion kit.

That's cuz it's a .45...

Get a .40, .38, or .357. They're more accurate for a longer distance, and still have the momentum to put a hurting on someone. I use my .40, and I'm pretty damn accurate with a hot or cold barrel, and I use range ammo at the range with the exception of when I took some of my home protection (hollow points) in just to compare rounds. Both were pretty damn accurate. It has the kick to let you know you have a gun in your hands, but little enough you can easily bring it back to aim, again. Plus, rounds for the .40 are cheaper than for the .45. .40cal IS the recommended and number 1 chosen pistol for protection and hobbiests. .38spcl is held by some women because it has just a little more punch than a 9mm, and just shy of that of a .40...with MUCH less kick Also, keep in mind revolvers are gonna have more kick than a slide action, too...plus holds more rounds. I'll probably keep my hands on .40's for a good while even after the military provides me my 9mm Beretta 92fs.

The AR15 is gonna be competition grade for pretty much straight hobby purposes, and it's VERY similar to the M16 assault rifle...except I can bring an AR15 home with me. :goodjob:

Also...before I retire...I want a .50cal sniper rifle just for long-range hobby. But it's about an 8K$ rifle...

Yo Darryl, Ben, Jermaine and all who I speak to about my B16A. Yesterday I started to break my motor down to replace the piston rings, but as we all know; when your only doing one thing your bound to find another problem. So when I pulled my pistons out and I took a good look at them I then noticed that some of them are missing like little pieces from in-between the piston rings, to me that explains why smoke comes out of my valve cover breathing valve. Yea it was. When you said that it was boosted, the guy told me that he ran a turbo on that block. I didn't really think nothing much on it; I was on disability and needed to get my car running so that I could get back to work.
