Went to alan cox and personally talked to the dude working on it. He wants me to bring him an injectore resistor box because he thinks that's why the cylinders are running cool. He thinks the injectors are running wide open all the time...

Problem. Resistor box was only on the 90-91 which was OBD0. The engine i have is setup for OBD1, and is a 92 motor. So...I didn't put in an injector resistor box...

WTF.

I swear. I'm ready to sell. Ready to buy a late 70's 240z and give every emissions place in georgia the finger when I drive by them...

2) Getting another civ hatch. It would be painted and look IDENTICAL to the one I currently own. It would keep it's little d15/d16, and I would only modify the brakes, suspension, and gut the bastard. Being stock, and keeping it maintained, it would pass emissions. Trade the tag between the two cars as I please. Yes, highly illegal, but as long as I don't get in a huge pileup where they have to investigate, I should be fine...

Originally I was putting a b16 in my car. Decided I wanted more torque. GSR was too expensive, so I was going to build turbo LS. Opted against it for turbo-lag reason. Decided to build an "ultimate" LSVTEC setup with a b18b I got from NAD Auto. Had it pulled apart. Had Si pistons, and Si head, and a badass intake manifold. Traded it all off (even trade) for the assembled LS + LS cable tranny I currently have in the car. Now that it's in and not passing...if the engine won't pass STOCK...I may as well just build something and not worry about emissions. I can either fail with a stock LS, or I can fail with whatever I build that'll be more powerful than my stock LS. Now that I have a b18 OUT of the car that I can build without being on the time crunch of needing to get the engine back in the car, I'll build it however I want. Hopefully it'll be done next summer, and I'll pull the B18 outta the car, and put in the NEW B18. The stock b18 will probably be sold off, or I'll rebuild it, and put it in a DA shell and sell it off.

I've also still got my stock D15 in the basement I'm still debating what I wanna do with :thinking:

Today I took a little joy ride earlier today and my fucking throttle cable broke the fuck off. How and the hell does this shit happen, beats me. So minutes sitting on the side of the road (In this fucked up Georgia weather) I finally fixed the shit and drove to my destination without any problems. I was feeling kind of hungry like an hour and a half ago so I took the Bitch out for a spin again, so after I get my fucking food and head towards the crib my mother fucking oil filter blows the fuck off! Oil all over the mother fucking place (windshield, top of the fucking car, the mother fucking ground etc,etc,etc) What happen was the fucking threads blew out the whole fucking oil unit. How the fuck can someone have that much bad luck in one day! I'm out people's it was nice knowing you kids but I give up. Our cars are anywhere from 16-19 years old, so we are going to have problems. That's just part of driving a REX or Hatch. I remember with my second REX, everytime I got my income tax check my engine went pop! First, after a week of owning my car, the orignal owner didnt tighten the rotor button screw down causing my car to jump timing and bend atleast have of the valves. The next following year, my water pump went out and my temperature wasnt work properly (so I didnt know). BYE BYE motor just a year later. It pissed me the fuck out two motors I replaced within a year period. Anyways, I'm still a rex driver so thats the moral of the story!

3) I don't EVER want that car to be built up if it's not driven by me. Not the way I built it. Because I built it the way a car SHOULD be built (suspension and brakes and stuff...hadn't gotten a chance to start on the motor, yet), and I don't know of anyone else that has a car (of any breed) that can compare to that car up in the mountains. GR2 = OEM replacement
AGX = 4way adjustable for the EFs. And I don't care what anyone says...it DOES make a difference.

If we do this, it'd probably be easiest for you to just bring your car my way. I've got a 2-bay garage, so we'll just pull 'em side by side and trade a corner at a time. I got everything we need.

mirror is from a sedan. i tried to put the cluster in and it didnt work. no tach or fuel, didnt see those working so i never drove to see if speedo worked. i know there is a difference with 88-89/90-91. thought this was the reason it didnt work and i dont know anyone with earlier year to test this cluster. so i dont know....?

(for example turbo a builds alot of boost, but has a long spool time, etc) I'm looking for something to strap on the motor that doesn't have alot of spool time, and will still get me around 200 (maybe a little more) whp.

like ive said, obd1 b16, frog ecu jumper, p28 ecu it was pulled from a running car no codes, the engine harness was pulled out with the motor nothing was disconected or pulled except the tower plugs. the car i put it in was dpfi, the guy wired it up for mpfi. the car sounds like the idle is right, so, i assume the mpfi swap at the ecu is right, only code is iacv..(14)

honsetly, that's pretty cheap LOL for a turbo kit. You can always go homemade turbo, but that takes time and you need a good fab man! I you can build your own engines, then I say go for it! Just machining get costly and aftermarket stuff is pretty high!

looks like most thing are pointing to a bad sensor. If you know it's wired up correctly and it's plug in, then (more than likely) it's a bad sensor!

Anyways, if everything was in tack, then it might of been user (installer) error then. Double and triple check all the wiring again! Make sure everything that was soldered (or bud connected) is still connected! Also make sure no wire is grounded!

i went through and looked at all the wires that were modified, but anything past that like knowing where they go im lost.. but, ill check agian lol also ill try cleaning the sensor just to check..

is there a "write-up" on dpfi to obd1 lol just so i can check all the wiring under the dash or would it be the same as just dpfi to mpfi since i have the jumper harness?
