i really feel since IA is such a big forum we should have a section that provides members/customers the ability to share there experience with shops within the local area. I have my reasons for reuesting this but i feel as long as there is facts clearly stated proof of transaction and input about there experience is should be a go. I now some shops may not like this but really if all shops do a good job there shouldnt be any issues. Is this possible if not why thanks for your time.

I second this. If shops aren't doing people wrong and tryin to hide it, they shouldn't have a problem with having this section. Also this could help shops if they were givin positive reviews.

No, because if they are not site sponsors they are not going to get basically free advertisement on the site.

imderstandable however the majoritie of shops are sponsors so why not have a feedback thread for sponsored shops then

Unfotunately every opinion/experience thread will turn into a fucking verbal battle royal with all of the cheerleaders on IA.

Let me think it over it... We had it at one point.. But it was just crazy shit talking.
We are really trying to keep the BS in the Whoreslounge. But I will think about it.. Ill sit with down paul and discuss pros and cons.. and take it from there. :goodjob:

I would assume that most shops would say since they are paying for their inclusion in the site they shouldn't be open to negative remarks...aka every bad review would be "shop bashing". I'm not saying every review would be, but they sure as hell wouldn't want a bad one out there; then you are left with positive reviews, which is what it is now.

I'm not saying every site sponsor would do that, but undoubtedly some would. That and your can guarantee things will get out of hand almost everyday.

if people have a bad experience with a shop they will post about it. period.

But i there are people that will post bad shit, when in reality the shop was not at fault. I dont think shops should have to waste their time defending themselves. people know the good shops from the bad and they know where to go to get quality work, and 99% of the shops that sponsor this board fall in that category.

IMO

while that makes since still you gotta understand one thing if someone came into a thread saying things that are untrue or just to show negative publicity for the shop then all teh shop would need is to display facts for examply the 240 with the 2jz swap before you deleted the thread your point was proven very clearly that he was lying same would apply however its still wrong that shops can do poor jobs and use IA as a defence/advertisement when they still are ripping folks off with poor work.
