here is the new toy.. sucks that i am leaving for iraq in a few weeks and cannot enjoy til i get back.. got the wifey in touch with my painter so it will be done and slammed when i get back! just a beater.. and needs alot of work.. but yes that is a 428 CJ with a 4 speed and a 3.73 posi out back! on the engine dyno it put down a little over 500hp and 540 ft/lbs.. full roller motor.. My friend and i bought the truck - he is getting the motor for a restored f350 4x4 and i am dropping in a mildly built 400m with 290hp and 500 ft/lbs.. it wont be as fast but it makes HELLLLAAA noise! just wanted a beater!

I seriously doubt a heavy ass Cobra vert is the fastest 99 and up stang on here... I know of two other Ford guys on these forums that has been in the 10s on drag radials and still on the stock IRS. And another doesn't goto the track, but puts bus lengths on 2 of some well known street racers that have extrmemly fast cars on here...

My car got fixed. Hood dent is gone. New hood, spoiler, bumper filler. Modified grill and painted mirrors (were faded). This was before washing, looks better after clean, but no new pics other than these.

dusty... i also have a blue one with a 4 inch cowl hood. you saw the GT. But i have another fox thats a GT but its been converted to LX stuff. thats actually a faster car because alot of the stuff from the car you saw plus stuff from the other car are getting mixed to build a fast ass car.

well full painted with what ever color or the two tone im thinkin about doin will be around 5k obo. but the car will do low 11's on DR's.

For me it all depends on what needs to be installed, I know JRDman on a personal level and we did some unique things to my car, so i can say he does do good installs

What about an old LX. Stock heads, stock cam, stock bottom end, etc. I do have a few bolts ons. I have headers and exhaust, and a MSD, and a small bolt-on intake. ;)

so far all that is done to it is slp catted x pipe as far as performance goes. For looks it has a light bar, some billet interior parts and 8000k bixenon hids from stangmods.

lol the 2 cars are both zinc yellow acually, screaming yellow is a bit darker, im gonna get it tuned at modular powerhouse after i do a few things to the cobra. tint, shifter, Intake, catback, pulleyswap, then tune with sct programmer. right now im just gonna do some small things

Does Scotty still work at the one on Canton or did they get rid of him when they switched over from Mustang Services to MPH? He used to do alot of the work on my old car so was just curious.

Modular and Prospeed both do great work, but Tim can always get that extra hp out of your car.

Nice car man, just in time for summer. even with those mods you should still be close to 450ish easily. good luck
