PRICE DROP!!!! 6,000 FIRM!!!!

I Bought/started building this truck Feb.(2/06)

I have all service history of the truck. The previous owner gave me two manilla folders filled with everything that has been done to this thing from oil changes to a rebuilt engine(49k on rebuilt). Since I have owned it, I have changed all the fluids and done all normal maintenance. I am a mechanic and know this truck up and down, feel free to ask me any questions about it.

1984 Toyota P/U SR5
22r 4 cylinder with a 5spd trans(have extra trans as well)

Color: Flat desert Tan

Suspension:
6" Allpro springs and Highsteer/crossover steering w/ 87 pickup steering box, 1.5" lift shackles, and 3" body lift.(no lift blocks!!) The rear springs are 6" longer then stock. I have a set of 17" extended shock hoops as well and a set of longer steel braided brake lines(Both new, neither installed yet).

Axles:
The axles have 5.29 Yukon gears front and rear. The front has a Lockrite locker and the rear has a spool. The rear axle is out of a new 4runner(3" wider then the stock axle and has larger brakes.) 1.5" bolt on style wheel spacers were added to widen the front.

Wheels and tires:
Wheels are Black steel 15x9 Trail-Ready beadlocks with aluminum rock rings. Backspacing is 2". These are custom wheels. If you look on the site, a 15x9 w/ 2" backspacing is not available..The rock rings have some scrapes but thats what there made for. Tires are 38/12.50x15" Super Swamper TSL. These tires have about 10,000 miles on them.

Other:
Warn M8000 winch
Front bumper is 1.5" DOM tubing
Summit racing bucket seats

Has no carpet or headliner(was planning on getting it line-x'd.)
Right rear quarter panel near the tail light has some rock rash. Driver side door has a little dent near the handle. Besides that the body is in pretty good shape.

Price: $6,000 Firm

Thanks for all the comments.
I have the vin in front of me so if anyone is serious, PM me and ill give it to you.
Also, this truck has dominated Tellico and done the hardest trail there in 3 wheel drive when we broke an axel. Many times to sweetwater, trails of 41, butler creek, mcfarland. Its a bad rig. It will practically go anywhere. He used to offer a service if you were broke down on the trail, for 300 bucks, he would bring the yota on his trailer and his 400 hp cummins, pull you off the trail, put your truck on his trailer bring your rig to your house and drive it all back home.
And bump.

how is his steering handled, stock steering on these with large tires equals NO turning radius. Kinda looks like an IFS box with a high steer kit, but I can't tell 100%. May help it sell if it's got that, hydro assist would be even better.

It has a high steer kit with an IFS box. Done right. No push pull crap on this truck. And hydro steering is awesome. My buddy has a F150 on rockwells, rear steer hydro steer on 52. No offroading truck but its the tallest in the nation. Its the big big big yellow one everyone sees at Nopi and occasionaly driving around kennesaw.

I'm guessing it doesnt handle well on the road but is this truck road legal at all?

Nice truck... maybe i read over too fast but what t-case setup are you running? Oh and bring it to Aetna mnt... You wont regret it

DroidJames

It doesnt handle as bad as you would think, you just have to learn not to go around a 90 degree turn at 50mph and such. The only thing not street legal on the truck is the wheels. Beadlocks are not street legal due to the possibility of the bolts coming loose and losing a tire. I have driven it for 6-8 months with the beadlocks and have never had a problem.

The case has stock gears, I was debating between doing dual transmissions(with the extra I have), or dual cases, but never got around to it.

No its gone, HalfShaft bumped it late. Some guy in TN bought it that had one arm. I thought it was impressive as **** that he drove the damn thing home with one arm and its manual.
