He said the hood is pushed into the doors and the doors wont even open all the way, so it may be totalled.

I would want the car replaced if that was me

Quite a bit of damage for such a minor incident....back glass shattered from the impact of the rear wheels bouncing off the car wash rails, air bags deployed from hitting the truck, the football field sized hood shoved back into the doors.

All that you think the oil was actually changed or was it just topped off and the filter cleaned to look new?

i don't even let people drive my 240 around, i can't fathom handing the keys to a viper to anyone at a stiffy lube.

Buahahaha shit is funny as hell. Guy has enough money to buy a Viper, but can't change his own oil or take it to the dealership and get the oil change or take it to a reputable car wash place? :lmfao:

honestly...

thats why you never see really expensive cars at a automatic car wash, this guy learned his lesson the hard way :idb:

if u have the 80k or w/e it is to buy a new viper, christ... pay for the dealership fees and get it serviced up properly and get records

what you get for a) being stupid enough to buy a viper...and b) being stupid enough/too lazy to not change your own oil

The only High-end preformance car I have ever seen come through a automated carwash was a corvette.

honestly...

thats why you never see really expensive cars at a automatic car wash, this guy learned his lesson the hard way :idb:depends on the area...there's a member on here that has a "funny" story about a diesel truck starting on its own while he was a manager at one...someone left the key the ignition (and on) and apparently the tire may have rubbed up against the rail or something causing it to crank up...to proceed plowing through a couple cars (one being an AMG mercedes?) in front of it pushing them out the back and down a hill. Let's just say it was a whole lot more $$$$$ in damage than this viper.

it takes more than that to total a car that value. My buddys Z06 was t boned, basicly crushed one whole side, it got repaired at $16,000 damage.

I don't let anyone touch my car but me.

lol, the guy said he "hopes it's totalled". I highly doubt it. They'll repair the car and he'll have a Viper that's not worth sh*t when he tries to sell it. Tough luck.

:lmfao: I wouldn't even allow a oil change or tire shop to pull in my $12K invested honda.............after a guy at firestone stalled my car 3 times (stage 3 clutch), I've never trusted a shop since.....well other than a high performance oriented shop.

I'm sorry, but no way I would accept bodywork to a car with that much invested. Crash it, definitely buy it.

Its funny because I won't even let people touch my 12 year old Volkswagen, but a Viper owner is too lazy to change his own oil and wash his own car!

What a dumb ass. If you have ever driven or raced a Viper before, you would notice the the pedals are set to the right to give it space next to the wheel well so I can see how the kid would have hit the gas when he was looking for the brakes.

My question is why would you put a 335 on the tracks of an automatic car wash. The least amount of damage would have been damaged wheels.

Oh well.

My uncles got a 05 Rt-10 and the offset on the pedals and how close they are is odd to adjust to, yet i find it hard to believe you could ever mix the pedals up...morons. yet i never doubted he's buy a new one
