So he's selling a NIB xbox 360 core system. I orginally offered him 200 cash for it. He said the lowest he'd go would be 230. So I agreed to it. My roommate is the one buying it, he set up a time to meet pimp at 9:00pm last night to exchange the money for goods. We get a call around 7:45 last night saying his xbox was at a friends house, and he was leaving to meet his friend to get the xbox. Time for us to meet him was pushed back to 10:00pm. We get a call on the way to meet him about 9:00 saying that his friend couldn't meet him to give him the xbox. We reschedule for today at around 2:00. We gave him a call at 2:00pm today trying to find out what time/where we are meeting. No answer. Left a message...no response as of yet. So instead of waiting around for this guy, we just went out and got one from the store. Moral of the story here is, if your gonna make plans to sell something, make sure you have the item IN HAND before you agree to meet up with someone and waste their time when you can't. Also if something came up, we'd have been more then willing to work with him to meet up, instead not calling the people back who you've made an agreement with shows poor character, all it would've taken is ONE call to let us know that you changed your mind, or something more pressing came up. thats it.

This thread commands a disrespecting set of events purported by this so called "pimpstaman90" person. It takes a low on morales person to stoop below himself to get out of a pre-arranged meeting. I wonder how this humanoid weasel will climb out of this perpetual hole he has dug himself into. I could only assume that this will be taken care via a twist on the truth. Tis sad to see people still living on a level that which is beneath normal human conduct. Later, QD.

That is uncommendable to do business this way. Not good ethics to sell something that isn't even in your possession. Later, QD.

What was I supposed to wait for man? You promised one thing the first night, never delivered. The second day your a no call, what am I supposed to think? As I said in the pm the first time we needed one sat night, that did not happen. You were on IA at around 11:20 or so this morning man. I checked and it said that was the last time you were online. This could've all been avoided in the first place by you not selling the Xbox you never had in hand. Yes it was at your friend's house, but as we saw last night friends can't always be reliable. I would not have left the post here had I gotten some type of word from you, be it on here, a call, whatever.

I've dealt with the pimpstaman90 before. He's a good kid.

Though he's young, but he STICKS to his words.

You should check with him online or PM him before making this thread, not coming back home and do it right away.

I bought a PC kit from him before. He sold me parts. They're OEM, so doesn't come with cables. I asked the him for it, and he got them for me even if he has to use his own cables, etc.

+1 for pimpstaman90. He's a good kid

Turbo04 you should check things carefully before neg rep people. He's innocent until "PROVEN" Guilty.

1. He lost the phone, doesn't have your number.
2. He has greater things to worry about, suspend his acct, getting new phone, tracking back tons of pages to figure out what's your number

What did you do beside called him? Did you even PM or AIM or Email him? Come on, it's only the 2nd day. He has to work, school work, and worry about his problems at the same time while TRYING to get back in contact with you.

I've dealt so many businesses with people on here that they know that I'm a very un-bias person and I always give others benefits of the doubt until I've proven that they're "not good".

I've work with pimpstaman90 (member.php?u=6214) before and will continue to buy parts from the kid again.

+1 for pimpstaman90.

I "-whatever my reps are worth" to offset that.

While I agree with most of your post, I think from the get-go of this sale, pimpstaman should have had the item in hand instead of it being somewhere else. He should have been ready to sell it then as soon as the deal was made to do it. That's what made the whole thing sour in the beginning. Also, this forum is just for what this thread is about. To leave word about it. When/if this gets resolved, the thread gets deleted and everyone is let know that everything was worked out. And the excuse of his school work or other work isn't too relevant because it wasn't relevant when he made the deal with the buyer. Later, QD.

And with that comment, I'll exit this thread. We're getting into some gay shit now and I can't be seen associating with that. Later, QD.

I agreed with what you said about this issue. However, I do not think it'll get resolved because Turbo04 was hasty and bought it from the store instead. So I guess the issue have been discussed out. Both didn't do their parts right. One was being impulsive and didn't check on the seller. One was not having the parts in hand right away.

Btw, I haven't rep pimpstaman90 yet.

And I will rep him in my own thread about the parts I added, not for this thread. I'm just being unbiased about this thread.

So QD, you may want to "un-rep" him for what you did since it wasn't necessary to offset at the beginning. My bad for making you misunderstood.

Yea, with him going to buy the item already, there won't be much of a resolution. I still do side more with the poster of this thread, but the issue seems to over.

Lolol. Well, damn. I will PM Julio to remove the rep. I appreciate you not being an asshole for my contradicting rep, lolol. Later, QD.

If you are a self-respecting man, you have absolutely zero reason to call another (supposed) man "tight." That's how I see the situation. Later, QD.

I'm not defending my making this thread, this is exactly what this part of the forum is for as QD said. Here is the time-line for those who think I was "to hasty" creating this thread.

Contact him, agree on price and meeting place time is set at 9 he said he wasn't at home, I'm called 2 hours before hand to be told he in fact does NOT have the xbox in hand it's at his "friends house" and he was bringing it to him the sale is pushed back, get a call two hours later to be told he cannot make it because he still doesn't have the xbox in hand, reschedule for the next day, next day comes not a word/pm/email/call from him, he said he would call around two to confirm meeting place, no call. 3 comes,4 comes, 5,comes,6 comes, 7 comes no word. I get tired of waiting and post this thread and buy my own xbox.

Multiple times there are things going on that can seem more then a little suspicious. If you notice though not once have I said he was attempting to scam me or anything. I just had a legitimate problem with the way he conducted this transaction. Yes there will be no real resolution in terms of me buying from him, no I don't think he's some scammer on here trying to dick ppl around. I'm sorry he lost his phone, and I'm glad he got it back. That still doesn't change the fact that he could've once got on here and pm'd me explaining what happened, taking all 3min to do, so I wouldn't have got irritated and being told one thing and that person not following through. Apparently though it's my responsibility to track him down to find out why he had not called me like he said he would. Oh but wait, I did call him and attempt to contact him on this issue today, before I posted this thread. Left a voice mail, nothing. I had no idea his phone was lost. I guess I should be able to sense these things. Although in my eyes it seemed very much like I was being screwed with, and I'd rather not have my time wasted. I'm glad he's found his phone, and I'm sure he's had and will have many sucessful trades, however this particular one did not turn out so smooth. I am not leaving him bad rep or anything I was simply posting this for ppl to read as I was unhappy with the way things turned out. I wish him good luck in the future and with the sale of the xbox.

Same thing happened to me where he told me he's going to bring me the cables on day 1 that he didn't parts with him. I was cool with it and told him tht I'll meet him up the next day.

He brought me the parts on the following day.

I understand your situation, but at least give him benefit of the doubt. Even in baseball, you're allowed 3 strikes.

Like you said, you called and couldn't contact him. If I was in your shoes, first thing is that I'd be damn worried what may have happened to him on the way, and not that he's skimping out. Why? Because I'd still have my money, so there's nothing to worry about. I'd get online later that day, post a thread or PM him asking the status. Then again, it's just how I'd do things.

Pimpstaman is straight, even though he does have a lot of things he sells for different friends. I have met him before to buy things, he also has told me that he has to get it from the friends house, no problem, he got it and met me.

Deal was good.

One time I had a bad item from him, he replaced it with something similiar.

All in all, they should have never set up a time unless he had the item in his posession.
