Grinding Fifth??

is it normal to be a little grindy in 5th? ive had an f22 and an h22 tranny in my car and im not sure if its normal to have a grinddy fifth because both trannies did it even with a complete tranny flush

20/50 full synthetic in the tranny it should stop any grinding but when it's cold let the tranny warm up before driving
