$17000? You got raped. Nice ITBs though.

You have more money than sense.you could buy a turn key 350whp setup from skunk2 for $13000 FYI.

You'll never get anything close to what you want without HP numbers. No one drops $25000 and doesn't engine dyno it.

Actually I didnt see he included the trans. After doing some rough math (i know some of my numbers wont be correct but they will be close)

04 jdm civic type r 7k miles when purchased-irrelevant because you rebuilt it (initial cost counts some, but not what you paid)
    02 type s trans-$700-$900
( all internal parts were high temp coated )-$500 for coating from a top notch place
block eri pro sleeves- ERI or ERL? Sleeved? $1000
    kpro- $1000
    boss custom pistons 12.5.1 compression - $500
    crower ibeam lite rods-$900 retail
crower stage 3 cams- Even the baller cams are only $900 retail
    balanced crank and rod-
aci race bearings main and rod - $100
    Lrp headstuds $100
crower valve spring and retainers- $400
skunk2 cam gears (not installed yet) $150 (Im confused, i thought Skunk2 only made the 1 gear for the K Series?)
head race prep -1 ported + port to match head 1mm oversized flat face coated valves0$1000
    jenvey 52mm ITB- $2500
    toda timing chain-$???
    ssr custom headers-$1500
    hasport 96-99 civic kswap mounts-$500
96-99 civic kswap engine harness kit-$500
    drive shaft+shop axels stage 2-$600
04 jdm type r harness (uncut)
    warboro fuel pump 255lp
    type r shifter + knob and cables-$200
    koncept shifter kit-$100
    midshaft
type r oil pan valve cover and oil pump
    skunk2 camber kits
    stage 3 clutch
skunk2 pro series damper kits (never installed )-Do you mean Coilovers?
    sc injectors 72lb/hr20ohm
    resleeved block
and it was about 1400 alone for the engine and some parts to be installed
    jus needs tune
    and exhaust for the car
Ehh I guess if you factor in the cost of the motor itself , labor, machine work, you prob have close to $17000 in it, retail. I can see that.

Your best bet is to seperate it all, youll NEVER get that much for it without any numbers to back it up. Sell the longblock, sell the ITBs separate , sell the Trans, header, injectors, clutch, etc all by themselves. Much easier for someone to come up with $2000 than $17k.

You have a race motor, who built it? Need someone with a good resume to vouch for the assembly.

That was a motor they had for sale 6 years ago, and it ran 9s in their race car. They used to sell them for $13,000 with everything but the Motec. Guaranteed 350whp K24 with an SAE Dynosheet. No idea what they make now.

Its not easy to make over 300whpK, just like its not easy to make over 250B

Then you know its not really easy price wise. I agree he prob paid retail, even if you do, its not worth retail. Everyone knows if you buy a brand new set of cams from crower for $900, and you sell them online , they arent worth $900, they lose value when its a private party sale.

Yeah, he needs to figure used prices, not new.. I can see a good amount of value here, and it would be fun, but it's still used items!

gotcha man just trying to help. Sounds like a good build, personally parting it out would get you closer to the money you spent. good luck!

You have me lost, I read it as; you paid 2,000 for a k20a swap in your car.
