went 12.9@119 on 26" et street. bog in first no traction on top of 3rd to 4th. launching at 7k my redline is 7500. due to stock ls head and t3/t67 ho.

In my opinion, sound is one of the most important qualities of a car. But Im really picky about cars. If it doesnt look good and sound good, i dont give a rats behind how fast it is...thats not a very common opinion, but none the less im trying to say, sound is a very important aspect of a car.

The tires were 26" MT ET Streets and I didn't realize till after watching the videos of the runs that I was spinning. The car would spin hard and then bog, which was killing my times. I chalk this up to inexperience in the goat, and also inexperience with IRS period.

I would have had a low 12.60 or high 12.50 if I had perfected the launch.. however this was my first time out in the car at the track.

The car has K&N, ASP Pulley, and dynomax bullets welded in place of stock muffler. Tuning was by Rob who was formerly Tri Star, and is now House of Torque. Car was 3650 without me in it, 3855 raceweight.


As you can see, I also ran a 12.82 @ 109 earlier in the night with a better 60, however that run bogged also.

My trap speed was lower on my best run of 12.79 due to having to granny shift fourth.. I believe the car is in need of a clutch soon.

With a clutch, and some more practice I gurantee on a good night I will be able to get some 12.50's out of a full weight car with factory manifolds

Its thacker...do you really expect anything else from him? Thats all he does is talk shiit about everyone....EVERYONE. If their car is quick, then mommy and daddy bought it for them, if they cant get traction then they suck at driving...thats the thacker way.

i didnt post the vid a friend on my account did i just found this thread why hate on the sound of my car i had greddy on there and took it off for the track is that a problem? i dnt see very many ls's in ga running 12s with stock head on 13lbs i thought it woulod be good to share but thats for the positive output ;D

kyle ran a 12.8 on a stock ls . he only trapped 108 though. you should get some 24.5" slicks and get your 2step and anti lag setup. then actually get a 60' below 2.1!

I agree with pat, those 26in are a little over kill. Can't wait to see what it will run with new slicks and a 2 step

Wish I could have been there that night! Even when I saw it run the night you were having trouble, it was pretty quick to be an ls.... But I enjoyed seeing that crappy video of you breaking into the 12's and congrats also. Let me know the next time you'll be out there so I can see it in person breaking into the 12's.
